The College of Business invites alumni and friends to an Open House during Michigan Tech’s Alumni Reunion 2024. The event takes place Friday, August 2, 1-3 pm in the Academic Office Building. Light refreshments will be served.

Two College of Business majors are among those named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court. The awards recognize outstanding achievement in the classroom. The Michigan Tech men’s basketball team as a whole received a 2023-24 NABC Team Academic Excellence Award.

Sonia Goltz, Professor of Organizational Behavior in the College of Business, was quoted in a an article about dual-career hiring recently published in the respected online publication, Inside Higher Ed.

Jenny Apriesnig, Assistant Professor of Economics (COB), was quoted by WLUC TV6 in a story about the “C-CHARM project,” which centers on the Michigan Tech-led Center for Climate-driven Hazard Adaptation, Resilience, and Mitigation. The center’s mission is to bring stakeholders from local communities, governments and researchers to improve community durability against the impacts of abnormal weather. MTU announced the center’s creation in an October 2023 press release.
