All students are cordially invited to join the School of Business and Economics for Business Careers Day at the CareerFEST Tent on Monday, September 25 from 11 a.m-2 p.m.   Also join us for the Business After Hours Social from 4-6 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge (MUB).
This event is designed to provide any students regardless of major with the opportunity to explore business careers to complement their STEM degrees.  You will be able to meet with company representatives to learn about these options.  This event is coordinated by SBE with assistance from Career Services as part of CareerFEST.

Registration for Railroad Night XIII is Now Open!

Registration for Railroad Night XIII and Rail Day & Expo 2017 has officially opened!

Presented by the Railroad Engineering & Activities Club (REAC), this is our showcase event that brings rail industry companies from all over to our very own Michigan Tech. Interact with rail industry employers in a casual environment, which also includes a sit-down dinner and a fascinating keynote! Plus, students will have a chance to win one of many door and raffle prizes during the event – which is covered by our modest $5 registration fee.

This is THE opportunity to ask questions of industry people, build out your network, and of course have fun. This is an exciting event which only comes around once per year!
Registration can be completed online HERE. Or you can stop by in person and register at our table in Fisher Hall Lobby from 10-2 on Friday, September 22nd, along with additional times next week, also in Fisher Hall.

Resume Blitz: No Appointment Necessary

 

Company representatives and community professionals are seated at the Resume Blitz from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and Monday (Sept. 25) in MUB Commons to help students.  Students are encouraged to stop by with a printed copy of their resumes to receive improvement tips before Fall Career Fair. Career Services would also like to thank the Michigan Tech faculty and staff volunteers participating in Resume Blitz.
