Job Posting: GTEC (Traverse City, MI)

GTEC has an Engineer in Training position open in Traverse City, Michigan. They are looking for someone who is patient and able to be multi-dimensional. From geospatial acquisition to civil design to construction management, you will likely see it all. Also, they just purchased a Norbit Mulit-Beam Hydrographic Surveying Sonar, Hovermap Lidar Unit, and an American Drone.

Under the current circumstances they are having difficulty getting anyone to apply. GTEC doesn’t have any specific timeline, so are very open and flexible. Please contact Jon Arleth (contact info below) if you are interested.

Art Show
The World Water Day 2020 art show features “Environmental Graphiti”—a series of digital paintings by Alisa Singer. Singer’s works were created to enhance public awareness of the science of climate change. Each of the 23 works of art is derived from a chart, graph, map, word or number relating to a key fact about climate change. Use the interactive campus map to take a virtual tour of the exhibit.
