AECOM Summer 2021 Internship Opportunities

The two separate positions will be in the North Central Region and South East Region for the summer of 2021.  These positions will require travel to various WisDOT project sites.  Dependable transportation is required and all travel required expenses will be paid  The projects involve highway construction, concrete, milling and asphalt paving, bridge construction, culvert installation, and sanitary sewer and watermain installation.

The internship will supply the successful applicant with construction field experience and the future vision of roadway reconstruction, bridge construction and utilities.  There will be survey work to document the installation, field measurements and daily diary entries which will be field taught by other experienced staff assisting.

The U.S. Forest Service is now accepting applications through USA Jobs for up to two permanent, full time Land Surveyor positions in Washington state.  Possible locations are Colville, Wenatchee, Everett, Tonasket, and Cle Elum. 

Minimum qualifications at the GS-5 level are a degree in Land Surveying/Civil Eng. with a Surveying emphasis, or a combination of relevant education & experience.  The GS-7, 9, and 11 level have additional qualification requirements, with a license to practice land surveying being required at the GS-11 level.

Michigan Tech Rail Transportation Program Railroad Scholarships

These scholarships are proudly sponsored by the CN Endowment Fund and by generous donations from our other industry supporters and friends. This year’s program will feature a dedicated scholarship for at least one Michigan Tech freshman student interested in pursuing a career with the rail industry. They will also continue to fund at least two scholarships for other Michigan Tech students with interests in the railroad industry.

Amount of Award: Each scholarship awarded will be in the amount of $1,000.

Eligibility: Applicants for the Railroad Scholarships must be an undergraduate student at Michigan Tech University in good standing and interested in the railroad industry. Open to all
disciplines.
