We are excited to announce that the MITA Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for 2025!

This scholarship fund is designed to provide financial support to students pursuing careers in the heavy construction industry.
Last year MITA awarded a total of $30,000 to 13 students to support them in their pursuit of a career in the industry.
Important Dates:
March – Applications Open
April 30 – Final Deadline (Late applications will NOT be considered.)
Mid-June – Scholarship recipients announced
Who Can Apply?
Students who are college or trade-school-bound for a career in the heavy construction industry.
Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit:
A 500-word essay outlining their career goals in the construction industry
A resume with extracurricular activities, jobs, and community service
Academic transcripts
A letter of recommendation (up to 3, not to exceed one page each)
