HEI is a multi-discipline civil engineering firm that celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2025, with offices throughout Illinois and Wisconsin. We currently have immediate openings for surveyors, construction inspectors, designers, and engineers.

What: Meet the SENSE team, overview of current projects, learn about Department of Defense civilian opportunities, and a tour of the Great Lakes Research Center with Dr. Havens (and free food!)

SENSE stands for Strategic Education Through Naval Systems Experiences, and we are advised by Dr. Timothy Havens and Dr. Tania Demonte Gonzalez. The goal of our enterprise is to provide students with hands-on experiences in naval application projects, explore interests and careers within the Department of Defense, and enhance their teamwork and communication skills.

Scholarship: Women in Chemicals Scholarship

Women in Chemicals Scholarship

The Women in Chemicals scholarship program is designed to encourage the advancement of women in STEM, and to promote careers in the chemical industry.

Through the Myers-Greene Family STEM Scholarship Fund, Women in Chemicals will award an annual scholarship in the amount of $10,000 to one woman pursuing a post secondary education in STEM through an accredited university, vocational or trade school.

The scholarship will be awarded for the first time in 2026 and the recipient will be honored at the 2026 Women in Chemicals Conference on September 14-16.
