APAM Scholarship Program Ensuring the Future of the Asphalt Industry
The APAM Scholarship Program supports the next generation of professionals in the asphalt paving industry and helps ensure asphalt remains America’s leading choice in paving materials.
Purpose
The APAM Scholarship Program was established to:
Encourage student interest in the asphalt paving industry
Support the development of a workforce trained in asphalt technology
Encourage colleges and universities to offer education and training in asphalt technology
Eligibility
The scholarship program currently provides funding for undergraduate and graduate students.
Applicants must:
Be a U.S. citizen
Be enrolled full-time at an accredited two-year technical institution, four-year college, or university in Michigan
Have an interest in pursuing a career in the Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving industry
If you have interns working within your organization who meet these eligibility requirements, please encourage them to submit an application to bwilson@apa-mi.org by October 28, 2026.
Scholarship recipients will be recognized at the APAM Holiday Banquet and Presentation of the 2026 Asphalt Paving Awards on Thursday, December 10, 2026, at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing, Michigan. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to the APAM Office.
