The Structural Engineers Association of Michigan (SEAMi) is pleased to present our 2024 Structural Engineering Scholarship. As a student at an ABET Accredited University and soon to be Professional in our craft we are pleased to offer a minimum of (2) $2000 Undergraduate Degree and (1) Graduate Degree Scholarship to students chosen by a panel of judges based on merit and other credentials listed in the Application. In addition to the benefit of college tuition money, the selected individuals will also receive FREE tuition to our 2024 Annual SEAMi Conference held on Thursday and Friday, May 16 and 17, 2024 at the Kellogg Conference Center in Lansing, MI (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included!!!). This is a great opportunity to learn about topics specific to our Profession and network with Owners and Employees of Engineering Firms from across Michigan! An opportunity that could pay off in the future when applying for a job. Scholarship Winners will be presented their award after dinner on Thursday. IMEG awards individual scholarships of up to $10,000 to multiple students nationwide who are pursuing a degree in engineering. Scholarships are available for underrepresented students in the 2024-2025 academic year who are sophomores, juniors and seniors that have great potential and have a financial need.

Deadline: March 15, 2024

The ASCE Michigan Section annually awards scholarships to deserving college students pursuing degrees in Civil Engineering. Applications are due by Memorial Day each year. To be eligible, students must:

• Be a Michigan resident and US Citizen at the time of application,
• Be enrolled as a full time student (in good standing) at an ABET accredited college in a civil and/or environmental engineering program in the State of Michigan,
• Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 (out of 4.0) at the time of application.

Two scholarships are available, the Mackinac Scholarship ($10,000 total – $5,000 each year for 2 years) and the Zuidema Scholarship ($1,500). To apply, download the Scholarship Application and return it to the ASCE Michigan Section (information provided with application).
