The Meet-UP will provide both business and talent an opportunity to discover ways to collaborate and work and learn from each other. 

The MI STEM Forward Internship Program is operated by Ann Arbor SPARK and made possible by a grant from the MEDC that offers financial support to companies hiring STEM interns. Students will be given a FREE ticket to the floor of the auto show!

Now hiring! The Mackinac County Road Commission is seeking to fill a seasonal engineering position for the 2022 construction season. This position would be an excellent opportunity for a student who is studying in the civil or construction engineering field to gain valuable experience. Along with this seasonal position there is an opportunity for development of a fulltime position with the Mackinac County Road Commission.

Duties include but are not limited to the following: perform field surveying, assist in the design and development of road construction plans, perform construction inspection and documentation, and various other technical engineering related work.

Desirable candidates should be: studying toward a degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering Technology, knowledgeable in CAD software, experienced with other computer software, and experienced with project engineering and documentation.

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.  The Road Commission offers an excellent fringe benefit program.

OHM has internship and Co-Op Positions available at our Kalamazoo office in the Field Services Department.  You will gain valuable working knowledge from real world application in the field. Your primary role will include the following:

• Assist project engineers in the application of principles, methods, and techniques of engineering.
• Collaborate with a team to solve problems and complete projects
• Assist in developing design documents utilizing Civil 3D
• Construction observation.
• Material Testing such as density, concrete, and HMA
• Assist survey crew.
