Ph.D. student Ranit Karmakar (computer engineering) was quoted by the Daily Mining Gazette in a story previewing the 33rd Parade of Nations, being held at 11 a.m. tomorrow (Sept. 17). The parade route will start at Quincy Green in Hancock and end at Dee Stadium in Houghton.
Karmakar is a member of the food committee behind this year’s takeout-style multicultural food festival following the parade. Food will be available beginning at noon at the Dee.
