CS Faculty Candidate Koloud Al Khamaiseh to Present Classroom Lecture


Department of Computer Science faculty candidate Koloud Al Khamaiseh will present a classroom lecture on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 1-2 p.m., on campus in Fisher Hall, Room 125, and virtually.

The lecture, focused on AI and network security classes, is titled, “Machine Learning for Cyber Security.”

Kaloud is a Ph.D. candidate in the electrical and computer engineering department at Western Michigan University. She has more than 15 years of experience teaching and conducting research in computer engineering, including nine years as a full-time lecturer at Tafila Technical University, Jordan.

The candidate’s research interests include machine learning for medical image processing, machine learning for cyber security, and HTML parsing and information retrieval.
