Dominika Bobik named CSC Academic All-America

Michigan Tech senior tennis player Dominika Bobik was named a College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2022-23 Third Team Academic All-American.

Bobik holds a 3.96 GPA in computer engineering. She played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Huskies this spring and was previously named CSC Academic All-District. She is the fifth Michigan Tech women’s tennis player to earn Academic All-America honors and the first since Amy Palmgren in 2008. 

“It is a much-deserved honor for Dominika,” said head coach Kristin D’Agostini-Yep. “She has been a top student here since she was a freshman and we are very proud of her accomplishments on and off the court.”

The Daily Mining Gazette picked up a Michigan Tech Athletics press release about Dominika Bobik being named a 2022-23 Third Team Academic All-America by College Sports Communicators. Bobik, who played No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the Huskies this spring, holds a 3.96 GPA and studies computer engineering.
