The Michigander Scholars initiative, which includes EV Scholars, will host a Link in the D! (Detroit) networking event on Wednesday, August 2, from 5-7 p.m., in the New Labs at Michigan Central in Corktown at 2050 15th St., Detroit, MI. The event is free.
All engineering and computer science students from any Michigan state school who are interested in living, working, and playing in Michigan, or interested in finding out more about Michigan, are invited to “link up” with representatives from prominent employers in the region. Food and beverages will be served.
This is a “leave your resume at home” event as genuine conversation and real networking is the goal. Handouts and business cards are allowed, as well as electronic info sharing.
