Michigan Tech’s Mechatronics degree program was determined to be second best in the nation, falling only behind Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), who started their own program in 2012.

Michigan Tech rose above other major U.S. schools, such as John Hopkins, Purdue University, and University of Michigan Ann Arbor. See the full story and list of schools here.

The program started in 2021, initiated by Professor Sergeyev.

According to the president of Donald Engineering, Mark Gauthier, the dream started over twenty years ago and he expects Tech to rise above MIT’s degree soon.
