Over a month ago, Dr. Hatoum received an invite from the Gordon Research Conference to present during the four-day discussion on Biomechanics in Vascular Biology and Disease. The conference began on Sunday, August 6th, and Dr. Hatoum is scheduled to present on Thursday, August 10th.
This international conference includes engineers, biologists, and clinicians in the field of biomechanics, an area that Dr. Hatoum has produced much valuable literature in and received an ICC Rapid Seedling Award for. Her presentation is entitled “Hemodynamics Interplay of Blood Pressure, Valve Performance, and Epicardial Coronary Flow.”
The conference aims to provide early dissemination for unpublished and cutting edge research while promoting a discussion on the presented topics. Held in a remote setting, this conference includes worldwide names in the field of biomechanics, promoting a wide reach for the presented research.
