Thank you for a great season!

Mont Ripley wishes to thank the Michigan Tech Faculty, Staff, and Students, the Houghton and Hancock Communites, our Regional visitors and of course, our own Staff, for another amazing ski season!

Mother Nature only gave us 184″ of snow to work with, but we were able to make snow for 40 days. By using a total of 30.8 million gallons of water, we were able to have the hill open for 92 days this season. Thank you snowmakers!

Whether you visited us for the first time this year, or you’ve been a passholder for decades, we thank each of you for your continued support of Mont Ripley and look forward to providing you with more amazing skiing in the future.

Happy Spring!

5 Star Reviews

Thank you to the guests who left these 5 star reviews recently!

We were there today for a high school race. The hill was in great shape… we travel around to a lot of hills in the U.P., the lady who cooks at the food court [Sandy] is not only such a wonderful welcoming individual, her food quality is as a Chef! You expect to pay a whole bunch for a little food at a ski hill, but under her direction…. you get more than what you are use to expect (plus, it’s soooo good!) Great place to visit when you want to experience FULL winter when it may not be happening anywhere else…. a good bet.

Rental service is awesome, staff is friendly and helpful. Food is good and the ski hill is groomed and has two lifts and a tbar.

Awesome lil place right in town.

Rental Reminders

Mont Ripley rental equipment is for use AT MONT RIPLEY ONLY.

We have had several requests for daily and overnight rentals to be taken to Mount Bohemia. We are sorry that we are unable to provide that service at this time. The skis or boards necessary to ski or ride Boho need to be a much different level of advanced equipment than what we supply with our rental fleet.

All equipment, whether seasonal or daily, that is rented from Mont Ripley must be returned to the rental area at the end of the night.

Thank you for skiing and boarding at Mont Ripley, and for helping to take care of our rental equipment by returning it every night.

Tube Park CLOSED

The Mont Ripley Tube Park is not yet open for the season.

Keep a close watch on the tube park page – we will announce an opening day in Mid January!

Tubing will open in January!

Thank you for your patience. We are all so excited to get the tube park open. In an effort to re-open the rest of the hill with limited natural snowfall, we are concentrating our snowmaking efforts into making snow on the remaining skiable terrian, before switching gears to make snow in the terrian park.
