The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is seeking a Transportation Engineer 9-P11 (Traffic Signing) Field Services.
This position assists in coordinating and/or overseeing the development of traffic signing plans developed by the unit and consultants to ensure uniform and comprehensible visual systems for these devices.
Education
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in engineering.
Note: We may consider applicants that will be obtaining a bachelor of science degree in engineering by May 31, 2020.
Alternate Education and Experience
Possession of a registered professional engineer license as required by the State of Michigan may be substituted for 6 months of experience at the Transportation Engineer 9-12 levels. This substitution may only be used once for any employee for qualification of appointment or early reclassification.
