Procter and Gamble is looking hiring for both full time and intern manufacturing engineering positions. Our new engineers commonly start their careers as either process engineers where they focus on building, maintaining, and improving the systems we use to operate the equipment in our facility while building capability in our workforce or as plant engineers where they focus on utilizing the engineering work processes to evaluate and install the capability in our facilities in order to meet our business goals.
I’m hoping you can share this information with the Environmental Engineering department. It would be great to have some of these students fill out our online application and complete the associated assessments, which take about 30 minutes. We will have a team up at career fair later this month and will be doing interviews the following day. Students who take and pass the assessment before the career fair have an upper hand towards getting an interview. The directions to apply are as follows:
1)Visit www.us.pgcareers.com
2)Click “Apply and search for Jobs”
3)Enter Job # below and complete application
MFG Engineer: MFG00006364
MFG Engineer Intern: MFG00006391

Counseling Services workshops are open to all students (not just students who are already established in Counseling). These workshops, along with the Husky Hour sessions are a great place to direct students who are in need of some help, but who might not need the intensity of therapy with a counselor!

Please join Edgewater Resources for an information session on Thursday, September 19th from 7-8 PM at the Alumni Lounge C in the MUB. We will be scheduling informal one-on-one sessions on Friday, September 20th.
Volunteer to help keep Michigan Tech’s Food Pantry Open for students, faculty, and staff. Volunteers are needed to run the pantry during open hours. Fall hours begin on September 3. Open hours (when classes are in session) are Tuesday 11:30-1:30, Wednesday 2-4, and Thursday 4-6.
Volunteers are needed to open the pantry, answer any questions, hand out food, record pounds of food utilized, tap IDs, dating and putting donations on the shelf, and closing up. Please note that the Husky Pantry is now located in Fisher Hall, First Floor (Former After Math Cafe). Volunteers will undergo a brief training before their first shift.
Want to volunteer? Email the Husky Pantry at huskyfan@mtu.edu.
