I wanted to let you know that representatives from our company, Permasteelisa North America, will be at the Career Fair this week. We are hoping to talk with students who are focusing on Structural Engineering and Project Management.
As an alumnus, I’m proud to say that we have had great success at MTU and always enjoy coming back in hopes of adding more Tech students to our team!

I’m Audra Thurston, a recent Michigan Tech grad in chemical engineering. I currently work at Calumet Electronics Corporation in Calumet, Michigan as a process engineer. Calumet Electronics is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of printed circuit boards. We specialize in high-velocity, high-performance printed circuit board (PCB) engineering and fabrication solutions in North America with a strong focus on aerospace, medical, defense, and industrial sectors.

Calumet Electronics will be recruiting at this year’s Fall 2018 Career Fair for internships and possibly full-time positions in manufacturing, operations, quality, and process engineering. We will be hosting an information session on Thursday, September 27th from 6-7pm in the MUB for students that want to learn more about working and living in the Keweenaw. Scholarship: Michigan Tech Student Foundation

This student leadership award is a $1000 scholarship awarded to four students each fall semester. The award allows students to be rewarded for their continuous efforts to become greater leaders.
A minimum 3.0 GPA is required. Past winners, current and former members of MTSF, graduate students and Fall 2018 graduates are ineligible for this award.
