The Center for Student Mental Health and Well-being will be offering groups, workshops, ‘Let’s Talk’ (informal counseling drop-in sessions), and Husky Hour workshops again this fall. The Village of Howard is interviewing for Fall 2020 Co-Op Internships, which are a seasonal positions. Interviews in the Green Bay area are currently available.
Requirements include:
- Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Tech, Civil/Survey Major, or other related field of study.
- 2.5 GPA or above
- Student Visa, Permanent Visa, or U.S. Citizen,
- Freshman Class Level or higher, and/or Graduate Engineer.
Redi-Rock is looking for an entry level engineer with a geotech background. The job posting is for our location in Petoskey, but depending on the circumstances, they would be open to considering the position in Grand Rapids as well.

Those interested in how they can up their career-search game while working remotely, are invited to attend one of two “Maximize Your Time at Home” virtual sessions.
The first session will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. (EDT) today (April 14). Register here. The session will be held via Zoom.

GTEC has an Engineer in Training position open in Traverse City, Michigan. They are looking for someone who is patient and able to be multi-dimensional. From geospatial acquisition to civil design to construction management, you will likely see it all. Also, they just purchased a Norbit Mulit-Beam Hydrographic Surveying Sonar, Hovermap Lidar Unit, and an American Drone.
Under the current circumstances they are having difficulty getting anyone to apply. GTEC doesn’t have any specific timeline, so are very open and flexible. Please contact Jon Arleth (contact info below) if you are interested.
