Scholarship: WTBA Engineering Scholarships

WTBA awards two $5,000 Engineering Scholarships and two $3,000 Engineering Tech Scholarships each January at our Contractor-Engineer Conference.  Winners are encouraged to attend the ceremony for special recognition.

Students studying civil engineering, construction management, engineering tech, and other transportation construction-related fields are welcome to apply.

While most candidates fall into those fields of study and/or on our listed universities, colleges, and tech schools, any student who can demonstrate a clear interest in a potential career in the industry is also encouraged to apply.

Applications open Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2024.  They’ll stay open until Friday, Nov. 15, 2024 but we encourage applicants to submit their forms and required documents early.  Last year, we saw double the number of typical applications.

More information and the application link are available at: wtba.org/scholarships/

Please let me know if you have any questions.  I also ask you to send this message along to anyone in your department who I may have missed.  Apologies if you received this by mistake – I’m casting a fairly wide net.

Best,
