No internship for Summer yet? – No problem…..Get one here!! (Strategic Internships in Rail)

Tech Students, if you don’t have an internship for this summer yet, consider sending your resume to the Strategic Internships in Rail Program. There are currently four companies who’ve each committed to taking at least one Michigan Tech student for an internship. Three of them are especially interested in civil/construction engineers and one in mechanical/electrical, but other majors are also encouraged. Don’t let the “rail” fool you….you don’t need to have experience in rail transportation to apply and companies often have students working in a variety of projects.

Find more information on the attached flyer and how to apply on the Info Sheet. You can also find more info on our web site http://www.rail.mtu.edu/strategic-internships-rail-sir-program

For WSP, you need to apply directly online (follow instructions). For others, we are collecting resumes and sending them in as a package, so make sure you send  your resume to Amanda (alkerttu@mtu.edu) by February 9th, 2021.

Good luck and send me or Amanda email, if you have any questions.
