The AGC of Michigan Educational Endowment Scholarship program has been providing undergraduate scholarships for students pursuing construction management or civil engineering degrees at accredited Michigan universities since 1984.

The Daniel B. Fambro Student Paper Award is awarded annually for a significant paper prepared by a student member of ITE. The award honors the work of Daniel B. Fambro, who was a professor at Texas A&M University and an associate research engineer at the Texas A&M Transportation Institute and passed away in 1999. In naming the award in Dan’s honor, ITE recognizes his exemplary service to ITE, and his dedication to his students and the profession. The award provides ITE a means to encourage student members to conduct and report on independent and original research and investigate transportation subjects. The Dan Fambro Award recognizes outstanding accomplishment in this area and shines a spotlight on young and talented transportation researchers.
The Michigan Section awards $500 for first place and $300 for second place. The deadline for submitting paper to me for the Michigan award is February 10.
MSES is proud to announce its annual scholarship program available to college students pursuing a major/career in a transportation related field.
2023-2024 MSES Scholarship
- The 2023-2024 scholarship application is available at mses.org and is due February 13, 2023.
- MSES Scholarship Program qualifications and guidelines are available through www.mses.org.
- Applications may be submitted through the available online form at www.mses.org.
- Further questions regarding scholarship qualifications and the submission process may be directed to MSES Executive Director, Heidi Holste at info@mses.org.
After the applications are received by MSES:
- Following receipt of the written application, applications will be scored by MSES Scholarship committee members, see criteria on www.mses.org.
- Top scoring applicants will be required to participate in a scheduled video/online interview between in March 2023

It is a 13-week multidisciplinary project looking at autonomous mobility in complex natural environments based on flying and gliding rainforest animals. They want grad students and graduating seniors and they are offering a $5k stipend.
