by Family Weekend Committee
Family Weekend at Michigan Tech is today (Oct. 1) and tomorrow (Oct. 2), and we look forward to welcoming the 600-plus families who registered to attend! With the weekend schedule of events, there’s something for everyone.
Love the arts? Take your pick from a concert, comedian, magician and six showings of the Film Board movie, Disney-Pixar’s “Soul.”
Enjoy sports? Cheer on the Huskies at six games/matches.
Get a thrill from the outdoors? Get out to hike or bike on the Tech Trails, hit a last few rounds at the Portage Lake Golf Course, take a chair lift ride to see the colors from Mont Ripley or ride the wagon for a Tech Trails Color Tour.
Wild about history? Check out the A. E. Seaman Mineral Museum or take a Quincy Mine Tour.
Interested in Homecoming traditions at Tech? Watch the hilarity of the Cardboard Boat Races and/or join us for the sponsored tailgate before the football game tomorrow.
Simply want to relax? Dine at a local restaurant or drive up the Keweenaw Peninsula for a day with your family.
The options are endless! Check out the Family Weekend Schedule of Events for more info and activities.
