Last week, the EDS system on the FESEM was sent out for repairs. It will likely be 3-4 weeks before the system is back online.
The FESEM is still available for imaging.

The FESEM chiller is repaired. The instrument has been tested and is back online.
The FESEM is down. There was a brief power outage yesterday which caused the instrument to lose vacuum. I am currently working to get it back online. I did run into an issue with the instrument chiller, which is causing this issue to persist.

Unfortunately, the Field Emission SEM is down due to an issue with the instrument chiller. I’m working with the MTU HVAC technician to make the repairs.

The EDS system on the Field Emission is down. The power supply on the computer that interfaces with the EDS has failed. We have ordered a new power supply and will get it installed as soon as possible.
