Built World Enterprise is hosting on information session on Tuesday, February 25th at 5:00pm in Dillman 204.
Built World Enterprise (BWE) currently participates in the Airport Cooperative Research Program University Design challenge that promotes student involvement in solving issues related to airports and the National Airspace System through innovative approaches. Any major is welcome to participate in the enterprise.
Representatives from International Studies Abroad (ISA) will be visiting Michigan Tech on February 5th and 6th. The ISA representatives will be available to meet with students 1-on-1 to discuss ISA study abroad options. Please complete this form if you would like to schedule a 1-on-1 appointment with an ISA representative.

The GREEN Program (TGP) is an award-winning experiential education program for young leaders in sustainable development. Created for students, by students, TGP has introduced a new model for education abroad driven by a desire to provide purposeful, hands-on industry exposure at a fraction of the time and cost of semester-long abroad programs.
At the info session, you will learn about TGP’s program destinations, career-focused model, academic credit, program outcomes, adventure excursions, exclusive alumni benefits, and hear from an emerging leader like you about her experience abroad with TGP first-hand.

There will be two webinars this month in an effort to provide information about the internship program and how potential candidates can apply.
DEVELOP addresses environmental and public policy issues through interdisciplinary research projects that apply the lens of NASA Earth observations to community concerns around the globe. Bridging the gap between NASA Earth science and society, DEVELOP builds capacity in both participants and partner organizations to better prepare them to address the challenges that face our society and future generations. Teams of DEVELOP participants partner with decision makers to conduct rapid feasibility projects that highlight relevant applications of Earth observing missions, cultivate advanced skills, and increase understanding of NASA Earth science data and technology.
DEVELOP employs participants during 3, 10-week long terms throughout the year to address these challenges through organized partner projects. There are 11 locations an applicant can apply to, depending on what location the applicant would like to be considered for. Each location has specific projects Participants work on as a team during the 10-week term. Participants are classified as part-time temporary employees and work an average of 20-29 hours per week. Salary is determined by location and education.
