The Youth Dance Program at Michigan Tech Community Programs is looking for qualified teaching assistants for the current semester. This is a volunteer role, but has the possibility to transition to a paid primary teacher position for spring semester.
Duties include:
- leading an exercise if teacher is assisting a student
- assisting a confused or struggling student
- handing out and collecting props or equipment
- keeping children focused
- maintaining a safe classroom environment
- being an encouraging and enthusiastic presence

- current resume, including ALL related dance and dance instruction experience
