HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech women’s basketball team will be hosting its Little Huskies basketball league for girls beginning Sept. 13. The league, which runs on Saturdays from 9-11 a.m., is for girls currently in grades three through eight and will be held in the multi-purpose gym in the Student Development Complex. Dates for the league are Sept. 13, 20 and 27 and Oct. 4 and 18.
The first half of each session will consist of basketball fundamentals and skills with the second half featuring games.
The cost of the league is $40 per person ($20 for each additional sibling), and all participants will receive a free T-shirt that will grant them free admission to all home basketball games. Participants will also play in halftime games at select Tech men’s basketball games.
