  1. Am retired since 2002 in Farmington Hills, MI after rewarding career in first metallurgy, then computer sciences and finally bar code scanning systems. Worked at a golf course for 12 years following retirement and still play a lot of golf.

Retired from Monsanto (not Roundup!) and 34 years at 3M (St. Paul, Minn). Avoided being in management, by collecting 18 U.S. patents. Five kids, seven grandkids. Loved the Minnesota Boundary Waters Canoe area. Retired to the Copper Country and and it’s attractions, including MTU events. Praise God!

  3. In 1959 I joined Hughes Aircraft Co. (Howard Hughes). Employed there for 33 years, working on various space programs. Retired in 1992 to live in the Palm Springs, Ca. area, enjoying golf and the weather. We have four grown children with advanced engineering degrees, working on various space programs. We have six grandchildren which we enjoy. We would thank MTU for all the assistance over the past years. Thank you.

  4. Please look again at the Photo above titled – “Class of 1959″ !….I am the 2nd from the left in the front row. That photo is cropped from the ” 1957 Keweenaw Year Book”. titled 1957 Engineering Show. Cut from the back row is Don Lemont on the left and Socrates Christopher on the right. Both from the class of 1957? That photo was taken in May of 1957. I was 19 years old. I love that Photo…….After graduation in 1959 I went to Stanford Univ. in Palo Alto, California for an MS inCivil and worked in many areas ending up in the last 30 years with my own business in Green Bay. We have 5 children, 17 grandkids and 6 great grand kids. I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
