Men’s Basketball Little Huskies Recap

Oct 13, 2014

“It’s great to be with the kids that support us at our games,” junior guard Jordan Chartier said. “Being able to work with them to make them better basketball players is also really important. These kids really look up to us and we love seeing the same kids every year at camp and at our games.”

“Interacting with all the kids is a lot of fun,” sophomore guard Jason Hawke added. “They bring so much energy to the SDC.”

Some of the Little Huskies shared their thoughts:

“Scrimmaging is my favorite part.”
-Brendan – Lake Linden-Hubbell Elementary

“It’s fun to play against other kids. My favorite game is lightning. I don’t have a favorite Michigan tech player, but I like them all. ”
-Kenny – Hancock Elementary

“My favoite part is doing shooting baskets and being a part of a team. The shooting drills and scrimmaging are the best.”
-Cale – Hancock Elementary

“I like that they have all these different games, and it’s fun to play pranks on the coaches. The dribbling game is my favorite.”
-Grant – Home School
