The Properties button in the Page Actions Toolbar near the top of the page contains information about the page. You must have the page checked out to you to see all the options.
The Page Parameters section, which can be selected from the left menu or in the Page Parameters Gadget, contains the following options.
This snippet creates a layout with an image or an image and text on the left and heading/text on the right. You can choose whether or not to wrap the text on the right around the left content and whether or not to include a horizontal rule on the last item in the snippet.
Depending on the content on any given page, the pages within the CMS can take a while to load. In order to speed up the load time, UMC has been implementing processes that may change the quality or accuracy of the view on the Edit tab only. For an accurate preview of the page, use the Preview tab. This preview will not be affected by the noted changes.
The following content may not display exactly as it would on the live page when viewing from the Edit tab:
Departments that produce regular newsletters or magazines can use the Michigan Tech Magazine template to digitally display their publications on their departmental website. You can refer to the College of Business Impact Magazine as an example. Interested departments should contact webmaster@mtu.edu to get set up. Additional training beyond the regular editor training is required for all new users needing to create department publications. The department’s web liaison should reach out to webmaster@mtu.edu to request access and training for new users.
Interactive images, where the user can move around in the image to view the scene from every angle, 360 photos are becoming more widespread and easier to create. You can embed them on your Modern Campus CMS website in the upper page image or within the body content.
This snippet will automatically flow multiple images or other items into a grid layout. The size of the image will be maintained. This is a great option for displaying multiple logos or other images that do not fit into the predefined Image Editor sizes.
Snippets are inserted into an Editable Region to create styled widgets. From the toolbar, click the Insert Snippet icon. 
Snippets can be added directly in the region or often nested within other snippets.

You can add a photo to your event by choosing a general Michigan Tech photo from the Library or uploading one of your own. The photos are used in several different places on the calendar, each area using a different size and aspect ratio.
ALT tags (also known as alternative text, ALT text, or image descriptions) are an important factor in making your webpages accessible. This is also true for images used in your blog posts. Michigan Tech’s Accessible Technology Training Resources provides a training resource and guidelines for image ALT tags.
