Tara L. Bal (SFRES) has been elected as the incoming District 5 Representative to the Society of American Foresters (SAF) National Board of Directors. She will serve a three-year term starting January 1, 2020, representing SAF members in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa.
SAF’s Board of Directors provides leadership and direction to SAF to ensure the achievement of its mission to advance the science, technology, education, and practice of forestry.
